Alvaro Meléndez is a creative strategist and storyteller who co-founded CRANT, a creative artificial intelligence company that has become one of the most innovative companies in marketing today.
Alvaro’s over 35 international awards, including Effies, Cannes, Clios, and more, led him to lead Miami Dade Beacon Council’s Creative Committee, which aims to turn Miami into the world’s diverse Crea-Tech capital.
He also started the Ladies Start Your Engines program with pro racing driver Tatiana Calderón, which helps girls around the world have a fair chance to succeed in a world designed for men. Prior to co-founding CRANT, Alvaro worked for BBDO, Grey, and Ogilvy. During his time in these traditional agencies, he helped create culture-shaping campaigns such as Kotex’s “#itsnotmyperiod,” Coca-Cola’s “Gift Bottle” global Christmas campaign, and Nestlé’s “Team makes Me” partnership with FC Barcelona soccer club and Lionel Messi.
Today, Alvaro leads the Un-Predator Marketer movement, where he helps companies build Superbrands through Artificial Intelligence, Brand Love Strategies, and adoption of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices. Provoke Media named him one of the top 25 Innovators in the Americas 2023.
