António Sacavém

António Sacavém is an Assistant Professor at the European University and IPAM, and a Visiting Professor at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. He has a PhD in Management and more than 20 years’ experience linking academia and industry. He is a proud member of the Pedagogical and Ethics Councils at the European University, where he contributes to the development of academic and ethical standards. He also integrates the Editorial Board of Organisational Psychology in the journals Frontiers in Psychology and Frontiers in Communication, further contributing to academic reflection. His research covers the areas of leadership, management and digital transformation, with a focus on leader-follower dynamics, organisational behaviour and AI integration in higher education and organisations.
António has made significant contributions to the academic community, having published in relevant international journals. He is the author and co-author of several books, including: ‘The Book of Entrepreneurship’ (1st ed.), ‘Learn to Say No without Guilt’ (3rd ed.), and ‘Listen, Express and Speak: Master Communication and Be a Powerful Leader’ (1st ed.).
Alongside his academic career, António Sacavém acts as a strategic consultant and advisor to renowned organisations, such as Delta, and has conducted training programmes in leadership, communication and organisational development for global companies. He is also a Professor at the prestigious executive programme ‘From Export to Internationalisation’, to impact ‘C-Level’ executives, which is based on a partnership between the Chamber of Commerce, CCIP and the Catholic University.
